Les Misérables changed my life

This afternoon I saw Les Misérables for the second time in my life.  I saw it first five years ago so I can't really compare the two.  Jean Valjean was played by the understudy and Éponine sang like an R&B singer, but nevertheless, this performance was phenomenal.  The story coincides with what we are learning about right now in class.  I feel like I'm in a very French mood.  In the past week I've visited Paris, read A Tale of Two Cities, and now I've seen Les Mis here.  If you haven't seen this and get a chance to, see it.  I had chills throughout the play from the music.  It's my all time favorite, even more than Wicked.

Ever wonder where the phrase "Keep Calm and Carry On" came from?  Well thanks to Rach who posted this on my facebook wall I now know.  It was the perfect video to watch after getting home from Les Mis.

so whatever you may be going through just

Keep Calm and Carry On
