Check, check, and check!

Today was very successful.  I got to check off three things from my to-do list.  This morning our group went to the Houses of Parliament and toured it.  It was much smaller than I imagined, but then I guess we didn't see all the offices and stuff upstairs.  It was interesting to see the House of Commons, House of Lords, and the throne.  The British might like having a monarchy but boy do they have some funny traditions in politics.
We didn't know they were taking pictures of us for our security visitor badges
so here we are recreating our candid badges for the camera.
After touring the Houses of Parliament we headed up north to Camden Market.  This is my new favorite market.  It's a totally different side of British culture that you don't see visiting central London.

Tonight Cami and I headed down to the West End to see another show.  Don't worry mom and dad, I know I'm seeing a few shows but I can justify that because I haven't spending a lot of money to buy a ton of stuff.  Plus, we've gotten wicked students deals.  At Dreamboats and Petticoats we got 6th row seats right before the show started.  I think the couple next to me had a couple stiff ones before because the wife was singing along and acting like it was a concert.  It was especially driving me nuts because the music was from the early 60's so I didn't know any of it.  I hoped it would get better after intermission but it only got worse.  1/3 of the audience started singing and dancing along with the cast.  We were probably 2 of 15 people under the age of 60.  Ok, maybe that's an exaggeration, but seriously at least 60% of the audience were senior citizens.  It was hilarious to look around and feel like you were having a concert instead of bingo night at the local rest home.  Although, unlike common invalids these people got really into it and were swinging their hips (replacements) and jamming out to the tunes.  It was quite a site.  I loved it.
