I think this is the funniest commercial on television right now. Today I actually got to see the crown jewels at the Tower of London. I will admit that seeing them isn’t anything like the commercial. There are two walking flat escalators that slide you past the jewels so you can’t look at them for too long. It’s amazing how many jewels there are on those crowns. I can’t believe anyone can hold so much weight on his or her head; each crown has around 10,000 jewels embedded in it!
We only had two hours to see everything so we had to hurry through but I bet I’ll be back in a couple of months with my family so I’m excited to go a second time.
Now that I am done with this post I am going to bed; the earliest I have gotten to go to bed all week, and it’s 11:30. Hallelujah!

(from Rachel's London blog): "so this is me in a fireplace at the tower of London just testing out their floo network. Apparently the ministry had disconnected this particular fireplace so my floo powder is faulty, hence why there are no flames there transporting me. So sad."
Well Rach, it looks like the ministry still hasn't fixed this slight problem. I can' t seem to use my floo powder either; it looks like we're stuck getting places the muggle way. Darn.
